We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Peter Heppelthwaite, who played Jed, the lovable ploughman in The Green Green Grass.
Peter, pictured here with John Challis as Boycie and David Ross as Elgin Sparrowhawk, brought great warmth and humour to the role and was a much-valued member of the cast. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
